So stop trying to be.

Me- “AP English was so long ago and I’m pretty sure there are some do’s and dont’s to writing that I need to brush up on.”

God- “Yield and Type.”

And here we are. You are reading what the Holy Ghost just spoke to me and I’m literally wondering if I can even start a sentence with the word “and” and not have every person whose ever majored in English cringe.

God- “This is not about perfection but obedience. Yes, excellence in what you place your hands to should be a desire but right now remain focused on putting in the “work.”

Lord forgive me. I’ve not been working.

Where is that little “yikes” emoji when you need it? Ya’ll know what I’m talking about. That moment you realize you did “everything” God asked you to do except the “one” thing God asked you to do. Not to take away from preparation because it does have its place but our human minds can get so inundated with “figuring it out” that we leave no place for faith.
