I know You Are But What am I?
Ah, the taunt of the days gone by, but we are older and wiser prayerfully, so we’ll forgo the verbal mudslinging of the good old days and speak what over ourselves each and every day going forward? Love and LIFE.
That’s right. The word of God is life. The bible tells us it’s health and healing to our bones (Proverbs 3:8) and so much more.
Hebrews 4:12 (KJV) For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
I can’t speak for anyone else, but I know I need all of that and then some when it comes to the daily dying to self and keeping my flesh under.
So what do I do? I crank up the volume of my faith by saying what the word of God says about me and taking authority over every word contrary to it and rendering those curses null and void!
When do I do it? Every day like the bible says we ought to.
Joshua 1:8 (KJV) This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
